DADU: An attempt was filed to marry a three-year-old minor girl with a six-year-old boy in Mehr tehsil of Dadu on Thursday.
Parents of the innocent girl, Zahida, managed to take her daughter to the Dadu Press Club just half-an-hour before the marriage was about to take place. They staged a demonstration and demanded immediate justice.
Girl's father Shadi Khan told journalists that his father-in-law had been forcing them to marry Zahida with his grandson.
Khan also moved an application in District and Session Court, Dadu.
On this, a District and Session judge summoned all parties, including SHO of the concerned police station, to the court on October 23. Geo436
