Doors closed for dictators: President

Geo 436 ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that the Constitution has been cleansed of dictatorial amendments. Addressing the participants after singing the 18th Amendment Bill today, President Zardari said, "The illegal clauses have been removed and people of NWFP have finally got their identity." Like 18th Amendment Bill, politicians should now extend their cooperation in solving the problems facing the people, he said. "All political parties deserve the credit for the restoration of constitution," he said. Highlighting his achievements, the president said: "People of Balochistan were given Aghaz-e-Haqooq Package while Gilgit-Baltistan got constitutional autonomy."
