Geo 436 LAHORE: Training camp of the probable players of the Pakistan hockey team in a bid for preparations of the Azlan Shah tournament. The 30 probable players will report to the team management here today. Pakistan Hockey Federation had announced 33 probable players for the Azlan Shah tournament but captain Zeeshan Ashraf, Waseem Ahmed and Akhrar Ali refused to participate in the event as they wanted to take some rest and thus the number of players at the camp was reduced to 30. The Pakistan team players will report today to manager and chief coach Khwaja Junaid and assistant coach Ahmad Alam and begin the morning and evening training sessions daily from Friday (tomorrow). The Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament will be played from May 6 in the Malaysian city of Ippoh.
