Bomb Blast in Cid Building Karachi Video.Suspected militants detonated a car bomb in the heart of Pakistan's largest city on Thursday, destroying a police investigation bureau and killing at least 10 people

15 people were killed and more than 100 others sustained severe injuries when a powerful blast ripped through Central Investigation Department (CID) office located near the Chief Minister House and PIDC. CID building along with 10 other nearby buildings has completely demolished. Banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility of the attack.

Afterwards, a vehicle came and a power explosion occurred, the CCPO added. Ambulances and rescue teams rushed to the blast site and shifted the dead bodies and injured to Jinnah and Civil hospitals where emergency was declared. At least 60 injured have been transferred to Jinnah Hospital. Several people are still trapped under the debris of the buildings. A heavy contingent of police and law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Three suspected people have been arrested from the blast site.

Interior Minister Sindh Zulfikar Mirza has confirmed that 6 people have been killed in the blast. He said that the blast was similar to the explosion occurred in Marriot Hotel Islamabad.
