Geo436.com blog: Ch. Nisar says he had rejected Deedar’s name

Geo436 ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Friday said that he had already rejected the names of Deedar Hussain Shah and Mukhtar Junejo that the government had proposed for the post of Chairman NAB.

Talking to media men outside the Parliament House, Chaudhry Nisar said a parallel government is functioning in the country whose ministers are not even answerable to the Prime Minister and their agenda is to raise confrontations.

He said government-proposed names of Deedar Hussain Shah and Mukhtar Junejo for appointment as Chairman NAB were sent to him which he had already rejected. After that there was no progress by the government in regard to the appointment, he added.

Chaudhry Nisar said Pakistan Muslim League-N will come up with white paper on the bill for restoration of employees because it will give Rs21 billion blow to the already frail economy.

"If the government is so excited about restoration of these employees, then I would suggest that it should reinstate all the sacked employees and we will support the move," he said.

He said his party is not interested in any confrontation with the government but 'it always takes two to tango'.

Reacting to the Prime Minister's claim that 80 per cent implementation on Charter of Democracy is being ensured, the Opposition Leader in NA said that the right percentage is only 20.
