Geo436 ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bar Council nominates Dr Khalid Ranjha for Judicial Commission of Pakistan as its member, Geo News reported Thursday.

Meanwhile, Hamid Khan has submitted a dissenting note against the nomination.

A meeting of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) had been summoned for today to nominate a senior lawyer as member of the judicial commission for appointment of superior courts” judge under the 18th Amendment.

Attorney General of Pakistan Maulvi Anwarul Haq, who is ex-officio chairman of the PBC, had summoned the meeting.

Dr Ranjha is a former Law Minister and a PML-Q senator.
