Geo436.com blog: Punjab Assembly adopts resolution to build KBD

Geo436 LAHORE: Punjab Assembly today adopted a resolution calling for the construction of Kalabagh Dam but after the consensus of all federating units, Geo News reported Tuesday.

Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, moved the resolution. On Monday, addressing a press conference, he said during the recent floods, huge amount of water end up in the sea, which (if stored) could have been positively utilised. He stressed the need for the construction of the dam.
