Geo 436 LAHORE: Hearing on appeal against one-year ban and fine on allrounder Rana Naved-ul-Hasan will be held on October 9.
Rana Naved had appealed against one-year ban and a fine of two million rupees imposed on the recommendations by the committee which reviewed his performance on the tour of Australia.
His appeal was pending for a long period.
During this period, Rana Naved also met with PCB chairman Ijaz Butt and requested him to waive his punishment and he was hoping a favourable response from the PCB chief.
Rana Naved's appeal will be heard by one-man appellate tribunal of justice retired Irfan Qadir on October 9.
Sources said that Rana Naved-ul-Hasan will also likely to get relief like other convicted players.
