Geo436.com blog: Canal breach inundates village, crops in Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH: A 30-foot wide breach in Khadar Link Canal inundated a village and thousands of acres of ready crops in Nawabshah on Sunday night.

The Irrigation Department confirmed that the breach devastated Mewah Ali Jamali village and ready crops.

Sugar cane, bana and mango fields have been mostly affected by the breach.

Efforts are under way to fill up the breach to prevent further loss. Geo436
