Geo436 ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Rao Sikandar Iqbal, former defence minister, who died in Okara on Wednesday after protracted illness. The President said although late Rao Sikandar Iqbal parted ways with Pakistan Peoples Party, but he continued to demonstrate a measure of decency towards the party and its leadership. The Prime Minister in his separate message paid rich tribute to the political and socialservices of the deceased and declared his death a loss to the country. In a message, the President and Prime Minister offered condolences to the family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage to the bereaved family.
