Geo436 ISLAMABAD: Government has sought extra 3-week's time from the Supreme Court of Pakistan for appointment of Chariman National Accountability Bureau (NAB). In this regard, the Attorney General of Pakistan Maulvi Anwar-ul-Haque submitted a petition at Supreme Court office. The petition says that the process of consultation is currently underway for the appointment of Chairman NAB. According to Geo News, no new name for the post was proposed to Opposition Leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar for consultation after he had rejected two names put forth by the Prime Minister. The Supreme Court had earlier directed the government to appoint NAB Chairman by September 30.
