GEO 436 SWAT: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said the government promulgated Shariat in Swat in accordance with the desires of Swat people; but, the extremists disrupted the peace in the area, Geo News reported Saturday. Addressing the local veterans at a ceremony of distribution of cheques among Swat operation-affected people, he said the tourists from all around the world used to visit Swat, when it was a peaceful place. He said the extremists blew up many schools for girls, adding the extremists want to destabilize the country, adding He added Pakistan is not the estate and property of anyone.
