Geo436 PESHAWAR: Mian Iftikhar Hussain’s son Mian Rashid Hussain has been buried at a local graveyard in Pabbi amid moving scenes, Dunay news reported on Sunday.
Hussain, 27, was gunned down by three unidentified assailants at a local market in Nowshehra on Saturday night. Earlier, thousands of people, including Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti, provincial ministers and ANP leaders, attended the funeral prayers of Mian Rashid. PML-N leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Punjab minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman also attended the funeral prayers. Meanwhile, an FIR was lodged at the Pabbi Police Station against Hussain’s murder in the light of statement of Mian Amjad Hussain, who was also wounded in the attack. Police said that they have nominated three unknown assailants in the FIR.
