Justice be dispensed at any cost: CJ

GEO 436 ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Mohammed Chauhdy has said come what may, the justice should be dispensed to people at any cost, Geo news reported Saturday. The rule of law and hegemony of constitution will help strengthen the democratic system, he argued. This CJP said while holding meeting with a delegation comprising of lawyers from Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA) here on Saturday evening. Bar and Bench should cooperate each other to make sure dispense of justice to common men at their doors, he observed. Pending cases serve nothing more than multiplying the plights of public, he warned.
