Federation airs reservations against SC bench

GEO 436 ISLAMABAD: The Federation has expressed reservations on the formation of 17-judge bench of the Supreme Court that is hearing petitions against the 18th amendment. The Federation has submitted its reply in the Supreme Court in which it said that the SC body does not represent the full court because it lacks presence of one judge. It also objected to the inclusion of the Chief Justice into the bench. The reply further said that the authority to appoint judges should not rest with an individual.
