PESHAWAR: Minister for Information Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Mian Iftikhar Hussain Thursday said that work has been started on two major power-generation projects that will be completed at a cost of Rs7 billion.
Briefing media men on a meeting held between KP Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti and WAPDA officials, Mian Iftikhar said distribution of Watan Cards among flood-affectees has been started on the basis of available statistics of the destroyed homes.
He said the development projects have not been abandoned and work on the same will be resumed on annual uplift projects after receiving funds.
