Karakoram Pakistan: BBC Discovered Best Kept Secret of South Asia

BBC discovered yet another most intricate and unique face of animal kingdom in the higher Heavens of Pakistan often known as the “Best Kept Secret of South Asia”.



From BBC’s famous Planet Earth series featuring Baltoro; the home of K2 and other Karakoram giants and one of the biggest glaciers in Pakistan, which is 70 kilometres (43 mi) long and also visible from space.

A breathtaking exploration of Pakistan’s wildlife in Himalayan inhabitants include Markhor, a famous wild mountain goat found in the lower foot hills of Karakoram , Golden Eagles that hunt migrating demoiselle cranes, and the shy and very rare Snow Leopard that solely lives on the occasional hunt of Markhor and Ibex another famous mountain goat found at the highest altitudes around (3500m – 5000m) +.
